Our role as a marketplace

Tirana Car Rental operates an online marketplace connecting customers with independent car rental suppliers. The rental contract for the vehicle is between you and the supplier, unless we explicitly state otherwise in your booking confirmation.

We facilitate search, comparison, booking, and payment where applicable, but the supplier remains responsible for providing the vehicle and rental services.

Bookings & confirmations

A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email or booking reference. Please review all details carefully. You are responsible for providing accurate driver and contact information.

• Vehicle category, pickup/drop-off location, and times must match your travel plans
• Additional drivers, extras, and cross-border travel may require prior approval
• Suppliers may refuse service if documentation or payment requirements are not met at pickup

Driver requirements

Drivers must meet the supplier's minimum age, licence validity, and experience requirements. An international driving permit may be required depending on your licence country of issue and supplier policy.

Pricing, payment & deposits

Prices displayed on the platform are set by suppliers and may include taxes or fees as described at checkout. Some bookings require online prepayment; others allow payment at pickup. Suppliers may place a security deposit on your card at collection.

Cancellations & changes

Cancellation and modification rules depend on the supplier and rate selected. Applicable fees are shown before you confirm your booking. Refunds, when due, are processed according to the payment method used.

Insurance & vehicle condition

Insurance coverage varies by supplier and vehicle. Optional protection products may be available at checkout or pickup. You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the agreed condition and reporting any damage promptly.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tirana Car Rental is not liable for indirect losses arising from supplier actions, force majeure, traffic fines, or events outside our reasonable control. Our liability for platform services is limited to fees paid to us for the relevant booking, where applicable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the website from the date shown above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
